Environmental Integrated Solutions Ltd installed 3 duty and 1 standby Carbon Adsorbers at an Energy from Waste facility in Scotland. The design team from EIS were responsible for ensuring that the ductwork system effectively captures the odor and keeps the facility under sufficient negative pressure to prevent fugitive odor emissions. A duty standby filter system protects the Carbon Adsorbers from particulate and allows easy access for maintenance. The Carbon Adsorbers remove the odor to below the guaranteed emission limit value and have exceeded their life time expectancy.
